HITLabNZ: Mobile Advert

While cruising across NotCot today, I found a posting about a new type of media that brings together print ads and mobile phones interactively. It's pretty amazing, and really shows you where advertising could be heading with how much the industry is already pushing for online capabilities and user interactivity. Looks like SAATCHI & SAATCHI along with HIT Lab New Zealand are well on their way.

The code HIT Lab NZ uses, reminds me a lot of a Data Matrix code, which seems to have a lot of popularity outside of the United States. I tried installing the proper software into my cell phone to recognize the code I created using Kaywa, but sadly, I wasn't supported. Maybe one day we'll all be able to play.
